♥ ♥ Afterglow Cosmetics Review ♥ ♥

From the website: Afterglow Cosmetics focuses on offering the most natural color cosmetics on the market, free of many of the synthetic preservatives, bismuth oxychloride, petro-chemicals, synthetic dyes and fillers found in traditional cosmetics. Afterglow is a proud signer of The Breast Cancer Fund's 'Compact for Safe Cosmetics', sponsored by The Campaign for Safe Cosmetics.

Price range: Setting powder $26/ Bronzer and Blush $23 each (They do offer more products, these are just the ones I have tried)

Amount Of Product Used For It To Be Effective: Both the bronzer and blush I found to be very pigmented... lots of color and the good thing about it is that it lasts all day long on my skin. I have pretty oily skin throughout the day and for it to last in this Florida heat is pretty amazing to me.

First Impression: I just paid how much for this??? But, maybe it's worth it...

Verdict: I have the worst time with loose powders and can't seem to get the hang of the "Swirl, Tap, Buff" technique lol. I am all about pressed powders people! I feel like you loose too much product with loose powder, plus- it's unhealthy to breathe it in...when powder is loose, we tend to breathe more in (which actually is carcinogenic) But overall, the color payoff is great if you like using loose powders and the ingredients look safe enough to use.
